Other Products & Services

Fauxfilm Print Studio also offer other services and options:

Stretched Canvas
We will hand-stretch your canvas prints over a quality wooden frame. We use gallery type stretcher bars with a 39mm depth, the canvas wrapping right around. The edges can be printed or left natural white. Our stretcher frames are made from European pine which will limit warping and are sourced from sustainable forests.
All stretched canvases are coated for moisture and UV protection.

Dry Mounting to Foam Core Board
Popular for gallery exhibitions, we use a German manufactured, high grade rigid polyurethane foam core 5mm Kapa Foam Board which resists warping unlike other foam boards. We will mount your print and trim exactly to a professional finish. We also offer to heat-seal the print for extra durability and protection.

Colour Management
We use specialist spectrophotometers and colorimeters along with advanced and controlled lighting to provide precise colour management and proofing. We usually colour manage to the D50 standard but if you have a special requirement please let us know.

Sharpening & Up-scaling
Sharpening is a critical part to the digital workflow. We will provide all up-scaling and output sharpening, if required, free of charge. We see this as a part of the printing process so we don’t charge extra like some of our competitors.
